and the mighty one is back! i promise i’ll update more…but well, i’m so backblogged! XD so many things to do and so little time! will try my very best kays?
x

started preparing for the night out at ying’s place. i love her cosy little place because it feels like home.
just nice for the three of them. and their kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. black granite kitchen counter with lots of warm spotlights shining onto it. awwwww.
then a couple of us took the train to ‘the valley’, an area dubbed the chinatown of brisbane and is very famous for its nightlife. clubs, pubs, chinese restaurants. you name it, they’ve got it.
we went there for a sing and jam session (haha). karaoke time!

look at the happy and sweaty faces! i sung the worst and no doubt, vanessa was the queen of karaoke! =.=”

red nails+red phone = match made in heaven!
we saw this lovely jazz band playing on the streets. they were good, like really good. the lead singer had a very rich and charming voice. i can picture her singing in high end restaurants.
the pianist was really amazing too. ying fell in love with him? hahahha! i fell in love with the bassist. her skills, OMG!

after enjoying the music for 10 minutes or so, we proceeded to jo jo’s!

caesar’s salad. it was good and cheesy haha. my fav dish of the night!

thai chicken pizza. it was alright, but i very much prefer italian toppings!

and spaghetti marinara. boring dish i say. the seafood was very fresh though.

and a nice group shot! with the birthday girl, fonnie!

the yummylicious droolicious omglicious choc mousse cake! *melts

and last but not least, a shot with the bd girl! i love her
because she’s bubbly and nice and sweet. cheers to the many years of friendship to come!
XX
beautiful Saturday, beautiful friends, beautiful weather, beautiful Southbank and not so beautiful-me. wait and listen.
as i mentioned previously above, a few of us decided to go out last Saturday to celebrate cecilia’s 22nd.
she’s a very nice friend and she does not look 22 y.o at all! well, let’s not judge the book by its cover haha. she’s been through a lot of ups and downs in her life (pregnant maid too!) so kudos to her for persevering through all those.
we started the day by savouring some korean food in the city. being the hungry us, we licked all the plates clean within 15-20 minutes and totally forgot about the phrase ‘blogging-need-pictures!’.
anyhoos, the jajangmyun was my favourite hands down! here’s a link for all of you to check out what all the hiatus is about. *click*
after a fulfilling lunch, we walked about 15 minutes down to Southbank. a pretty pretty place! my favourite place in the whole of Brisbane actually. it has this man-made pool (for you perverted guys T_T) and a flea market during the weekends! Southbank is really the place to stay and over the years has attracted a lot of high flyers. The condos there never disappoint and the view is always breathtaking!

it even has its own Eye of Brisbane! *grins*
anyway, back to the flea market. the stuff sold there is always pretty, interesting, or even yummy! they have the ever-so-famous churros (complete with the choc dip and lots of whipped cream) or even if you want, choc filled bananas. o_______0 havent you ever wonder how they make it?

walk walk walk…

aww, look at the flowers!

and tadah! the flea market. it reminds me of subiaco back in perth, just bigger and better!

there are people everywhere!

there are gypsy stalls, did i mention? gypsies trying to look into your future and make you spend $45 or so for it. so enid-blyton like!

CHECK THIS PICTURE OUT! hahhaha
okay, time for some self-taken shots!

Fonnie and me.
we rock!

Fonnie, Ying and me! the crazy bunch

wanjun the future scientist who will take over the world XD

and the BD girl! she doesn’t look 22, i told you!

the day was great. much needed outing with friends haha
and what happened to the happy me? my nose bled all the way back home. not a pretty sight i tell you. it was tough to endure the whole 25 minutes back home! but well, at least someone sitting next to me offered me tissue. /touched
that’s all people. hopefully i’ll have another fun outing soon-ish! take care.
i’ve been feeling very fuzzy and warm (pun intended) lately.
and yes people,
it’s Christmas!
boy, am i excited about it. *grins*
x
LOOK AT THAT BABY!
p/s to mrX, that’s the casino next to the tree. (:
okay, i’ve seen better christmas trees but man i was proud of brisbane for the erm, 10th time?
lousy joke, i know T_T
come on! i love you more than anything else, brissyland!
basically i am just in the mood for a lot of christmas-ey stuff
x
including beautifully decorated and gratifying homemade oreos/chocolate muffins. délicieux!
some christmas gifts will be given to close relatives/friends here and you guessed right, these goodies will be included in it too!
oh, spread the love!
x
muffins’ owner (technically) *proud*
feeling absolutely generous and happy now! it’s the time of the year please!
should i donate all my savings (if i have any wtf) to charity? heheh.

you know you’re loved when they surprise you with a cake after a horrendously filling dinner of steamboat!
“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.” – Walter Winchell
thank you, i’ll remember this forever. (:
c has been my favourite alphabet for years already.
started with the so-called names for the future kids: claire, charmaine, charlene, carter etc etc. (there were tons more which i can’t seem to remember =.=’)
yes, we can all dream can’t we?
x
fortunately, it really turned out to be a fabulous dream come true. no, not in terms of kids. yet.
x
c brought so much colour and light into my life, i could not believe how lucky i was.
truly it was a gift from the above!
rainy or sunny c will definitely be holding the umbrella there, i never doubted it once.
c is like the fortress of my life, only better.
and most importantly, c taught me how to love and be loved.
x
BOO BABY CHUNG HUI!
SURPRISE!
*throws virtual confetti into the air while dancing around*
it’s great being a december baby hey?
you get to celebrate it someone important *coughs* me.
to hell with the haters of our friendship!
*clinks champagne glasses*
you’re going to be my B forever. HAHAHAHA!
x
i’m sure your future wife will be everything you’ve imagined her to be.
you seriously deserve it.
time to introduce you to the world!
x
to the guy who dislikes ****** as much as i do, happy 19th.
